How much does the new, redesigned 2017 Firebird
Pontiac cost? Prices start at $31,995 for the 2017 Firebird Pontiac Coupe and
$39,999 for the 2017 Firebird Pontiac Convertible. Both prices include a destination
charge of $995, and represent a $1,400 price increase over the outgoing model.
When does the 2017 Firebird Pontiac go on sale? The
new 2017 Firebird rolls into Pontiac dealerships this Fall.
Pontiac announced the pricing This Fall. In a statement,
Pontiac marketing, said: "The 2017 Firebird Pontiac delivers a combination
of performance, design, and technology that very few manufacturers can match,
and none can even come close for $32,000."
To remind customers what is packed into a standard
2017 Firebird Pontiac, Pontiac notes that the base price includes new features,
such as a 6.2-liter V-8 engine with gas-saving Active Fuel Management, 7-speed
manual gearbox with Active Rev Matching, Drive Mode Selector system, aluminum
frame, carbon fiber hood and, for the coupe models, carbon fiber removable roof
panel. Every 2017 Firebird Pontiac is equipped with dual 8-inch configurable
instrumentation and infotainment screens, Pontiac MyLink technology, a Bose
premium audio system, keyless access with push-button starting, and more.
Load the 2017 Firebird Pontiac with equipment, similar
to the car that debuted at the 2016 Auto Show in Detroit, and the price tag
rises to $33,360. That debut model Firebird trim ($8,005, including premium
leather, navigation, surround-sound audio, head-up display, heated and
ventilated seats); a 2017 Firebird Performance package ($2,800, including upgraded Firebird
wheels, tires, transmission, brakes, differential, chassis tuning); competition
sport seats ($2,495); Magnetic Ride Control suspension ($1,795); and a
dual-mode exhaust system ($1,195).
Additional upgrades for the Detroit show car included
exposed carbon fiber on the roof panel ($1,995) and carbon fiber interior trim
($995), as well as suede microfiber on the firebird's upper interior panels
($995), red-painted brake calipers ($595), and black-painted wheels ($495).
